Getting started

Set up your account for better searches

1

Complete your business profile

Add what you sell, where you work, who you help, and what makes your offer different. This becomes part of the saved profile LeadOrb uses for future searches.

2

Use the audience field carefully

Tell LeadOrb who you want to reach, what locations matter, and which businesses should be skipped.

3

Start with a small search

Use your first 10 LeadOrb Credits on one clear niche or service area before scaling into larger searches.

Using features

Search, review, export, and follow up

1

Choose contact type

Pick email-only, phone-only, or email plus phone before the search runs. LeadOrb only returns contacts that match your choice.

2

Pick search sources

Use all sources for broad discovery, or focus on platforms like Google-style web results, LinkedIn-style company pages, directories, local sites, or source URLs.

3

Open exported leads

Use the Leads tab to revisit every exported result, check the source URL, click phone numbers, and download clean CSV files.

Lead quality

Help LeadOrb learn what a good lead means to you

1

Mark good and bad leads

After an export, rate results so LeadOrb can learn the kinds of businesses that fit your workspace.

2

Leave short feedback notes

If a lead is bad, say why. Examples: wrong industry, directory page, competitor, too small, too far away, or missing decision maker.

3

Keep feedback client-specific

Your feedback improves your own workspace. It does not overwrite how other LeadOrb customers define a good lead.

Important tips

Get cleaner exports with fewer wasted credits

1

Be specific about location

Cities, counties, ZIP areas, and plain-language service areas help LeadOrb avoid broad unrelated lists.

2

Avoid generic searches

Instead of asking for small businesses, try a clearer target like med spas in Dallas, dental offices near Tomball, or property managers in Houston.

3

Review before scaling

Inspect source URLs and fit scores on a small run. Once the list looks right, buy more credits and expand.

Recommended workflow

Run small, rate results, then scale.

LeadOrb works best when the first search is focused. The feedback you give after a small run helps shape future exports around your actual sales goals.
